   Great hotel restaurant! Jalapeño Chicken and waffles were exceptional and very tasty! Service was very professional and friendly. Overall experience was great and will eat here then next time we stay at The Manchester!

   Both times we have visited our experience at the Granddam has been fantastic! Garrett is such a knowledgeable and thoughtful server and the food is wonderful! I would always recommend someone visit here to celebrate or have a memorable meal! This time we especially loved the appetizer with pork belly and the drinks!

   My husband and I booked dinner at the granddam as a part of a two day trip to Lexington for a long weekend getaway. From the moment we sat down in the beautiful dining room and were met by our outstanding waiter, Todd, we knew we’re in for an experience. As Todd went over the menu with us, he shared that the head chef was hosting a watch party in a few hours for the new season of top chef, in which she is a participant. Okay, here we go, we thought. And boy were we in for a great meal. Our cocktails were inventive and beautiful, our mushroom appetizer, divine, our mains were the real show. I had the elk Wellington and my husband the trout. Outstanding. Chef’s ability to mix flavors and textures to include smokey notes, spicy notes, earthy notes and a little brightness all at the same time really showed off her incredible talent as a chef. Thank you for a great meal and a great night; congratulations to chef for her top chef journey and to Todd for taking such good care of us.

   Ryan and Dalton are the absolute best!!! Ryan is hilarious, always entertaining the bar while being knowledgeable about the craft cocktails. Ask him for a Jameson shot, he pours the best! Dalton carries himself with such grace while serving, I think he could carry 10 plates with ease. Great hair too. Food was amazing.

   Very noisy, very slow, and pretty limited gluten free selections. More like eating in a school cafeteria than in a relaxing fine-dining setting. The soup appetizer and the coconut/nut dessert were both dull and a waste of calories.

   Love the ambiance here. We were seated at a 2-top just inside the front door where there was a lot of traffic - not the best seat in the room, for sure. The noise level was high making it hard to hear at the table and the server. Food was very good. A pricey dinner for two.

    The food was delicious. The bar was very busy so it took forever to get a simple glass of wine. Our servers were great & knowledgable about the dishes on the menu. Overall a great experience & we’ll be back.
