   Our waitress was prompt & courteous. We were seated in a booth straight back from the short flight of stairs. Diminishing the whole dining experience was a salesman seated with another prospective client. The salesman had a very powerful voice. They were having a pleasant conversation as the one dominant figure overpowered the discussion. There was a long tables set up with 10 young adult males. They were directly behind our booth. Those 10 were not nearly as loud as the one man seated at the table in the middle of that section. The restaurant was nearly filled. If it was known that this was going to be a business luncheon, perhaps they could have been seated in a side booth. Our soft drinks were as “cokes” should be. I ordered the chicken pot pie! The top crust was flaky, tender, and the flavor was awesome. The sauce of the pot pie was delightfully creamy, hot, and just so delicious. I often add salt to restaurant food. This pot pie needed no additional flavoring. The vegetables were a little sparse, but they were very yummy. There were small chunks of potatoes and carrot, plus some peas. The broth also had small chunks of chicken white meat, probably from a chicken breast. I will order this entree again. My husband, a veteran, chose French onion soup, which was topped as it should be with lots of almost stringy cheese. He enjoyed a full cup. My husband also chose the cheeseburger. It was served on an open bun, set so it could be garnished as the person chose from tomatoes, pickles, onion, and lettuce. Ketchup was available on the table. The sandwich was served with French fries. We both enjoyed our meal.

   the ambience and service was great but the jambalaya was extremely salty as was the salsa.mediterranean chicken was good

   Usually the brunch is wonderful, but this Sunday most dishes were cold. I've never left brunch unfulfilled before! How was the best items the mimosa and fresh fruit?

    Our server Will was amazing. We go to granite city often and we really haven’t had any bad service. Will was very personable and took the time to talk with us, but wasn’t over the top. It really felt like talking to a friend. Food was great as always. Tried something new and was not disappointed.
