Amazing food, spectacular service. You cannot go wrong. We are here for Christmas 🎄 and it was perfect for us. I love the ambiance. It really is like sitting in a greenhouse.

Christmas Day lunch was great! Food was delicious and the service was great. The Jefferson is an unusual hidden gem downtown - a really elegant and interesting ambiance.

Disappointing. We took a $1600 bottle of wine, but they broke the cork, (even though we provided a cork pull appropriate for this bottle,) pushed the remainder in with a knife and spilled the wine trying to decant it with the knife inserted to hold it back. Amateurish. We ordered cocktails. They brought the first course before the drinks, then brought me the wrong cocktail. A meat course ordered rare was served overdone. This was both Christmas Eve and our anniversary, and the prix fixe pp for our party of three - and a 3 course meal - was $175, drinks and corkage extra of course. The venue was lovely and the manager attempted to repair the sloppy service with comps, but we expected better and did not enjoy having to struggle to eat our $175 dinners. We will not return when we are next in DC.

Great breakfast. Omlette was amazing. The wife got cast iron griddle. It was delicious. Plus, the holiday decor was beautiful. I will be back again.

It's "ok." Ambience is better than the experience. 24-hour short rib in filo dough - awesome. Actually, incredible. Duck, utterly terrible (tough, little meat, no value). Service was slow. Finished dishes sat. Table not hand swept between courses. Bread service (not hot) tried to be creative but not practical - not enough butter or oil. Wine arrived halfway through the meal. Maître d' didn't really care, cold and inattentive. Servers were nice but, again, inattentive to details even when only 40% of tables were occupied. When ordering a whiskey sour the waiter just walked away ... didn't let me request the brand of whiskey (lack of training). The empty glass sat on the table during the entire meal. For a Christmas season meal relative to price, there are other choices in the city to explore. Management can make it better with dedicated attention.

The Restuarant did not honor the 1,000 points for opentable. I made the reservation because of the points and not to get them is NOT FAIR!
