It was………meh. My other half got the peach Melba pancakes which were good! However, the veggie breakfast was a bit lacklustre. Soda break was crazy dry, and just came crumbled in bits on the plate. Mushrooms were really soggy and just not good. Paneer with the jam was a good idea, but the jam was very star anise flavour and not much else. With the veggie breakfast already like £16, I don’t think there should be an additional charge for sourdough if you want it. Coffee was overpriced and the nuts around the trim of the cup was just annoying and made the coffee gritty. Lastly, the place was really crammed, kinda dark and busy, like waiters bumping into your back as they walk past busy (and I’m a small guy so I don’t take up much room).
Just overall I was kinda disappointed, especially given the hype. There are so many places that do much better breakfasts, and they are cheaper too.
