   When my wife and I arrived we were shocked at the Tacky ambience of this restaurant the waiter was alone and older two people at the bar and the seating very different from what we're used too, our calamari was tough and not tasty the truffle macaroni was OK and the king crab spaghetti was surprisingly good our drinks were weak let's just say we will never visit this restaurant again 🤔🙅🏾‍♂️

   We had a fantastic time at Greystone - everyone in the party enjoyed their meals. The food was incredible and the service was top notch. Sara the manager, touched our table and we enjoyed meeting her. We ll be back

   The evening was wonderful. We choose Greydtone as a definite place every time we visit,San Diego. The food, service and ambiance are fabulous.

   The noise levels were a bit too loud for us . We asked that the music be turned down which they did but it was still pretty loud . The other issue I had was that when I made the reservation I told them that it was my wife’s birthday. There we a few other couples that were celebrating birthdays and yet when we were done I had to ask why the other tables had received a desert with a candle on it ? They did bring a desert but it was after I reminded them ? Wasn’t impressed!

   Service super slow and way way overpriced that salad in the picture is 18 dollars!! It was wilted and warm the dressing on the plate was dried already, the loaded potato 17$ only had sour cream cheese that was not even melted and a few bits of bacon the wine tasted like they left the bottle open for a couple of days a def do not recommend this place and I'm writing this review while sitting in the table waiting for a steak knife cause they didn't have one at the table.

   This is a very honest review! When we arrived, given the impression from other reviews and what I had read in San Diego's publications around the city, Greystone Steakhouse had a very impressive reputation, for all the things I just rated on. Our waiter had a lot of irons in the fire per say with the kitchen issues that were going on trying to decipher the orders going to the tables with a very lengthly and disorganized process as well as direction from their kitchen manager! Serving a turkey dinner is not rocket science, especially for what we recieved, and paid 549.00 for 5 people, 1 bottled beer, 1 shot of whiskey, and a glass of chardonay, and an Arnold Palmer, with tap waters for everyone. The turkey on my plate was full of bones and tendons, very dissapointing. The taste of everything was ok! But all was cold! No rolls were served, and drinks didnt come to the table for almost 30 minutes, Our food was brought to have of the table. Then another 20 minutes past with 2 of our family members still plates empty! So our guest, Richard, had to speak up to the bus person about their meal, and another 15 minutes had past, after we got through with ours, and me putting bones and tendons on my bread plate with no rolls served. After an hour had past, with no refils of water, oh, here he comes with a water pitcher...finally, he our waiter, believed to be the manager, ask the 3 of us that had finished our meals our dessert selection, which should have been pumpkin pie, and he gave us all pecan? Uh, OK Mind you it was delicious, but not what we ordered. OH, but here comes our other two family members meals, finally! The flavor of the ( Turkey, Stuffing, gravy, and green beans ) was good, but thats all we recieved. My feelings were truly hurt, and my family ws very dissapointed, and myself; very embartessed for the behavior and service of the Greystone Steakhouse in San Diego, Ca. I will never return there again Wes Meekins

   Food was low quality at best, not even remotely worth the money, same with the mixed drinks. Service was nice and the waiter and everyone else was polite, but it was super slow and I had to get up to order bread and ask for missed items. They never came around again to take a second drink order. None of this was a huge deal, but it was Thanksgiving and I paid alot so it was a huge letdown. The price I paid did not match the prices on the online menu, so I feel I was cheated, not a big deal, but I am sure this is a result of mostly tourists visiting this spot. I would not visit if I lived in town.

   I regret reporting negatively as I have never done this before. Our Thanksgiving dinner was disappointing. We went to Greystone based on a raving review. It looked as if you didn't order their Thanksgiving menu the plates were adequate and warm enough to eat. Our servings for the four of us were not even equal and two of the plates had a cold vegetable, cold sweet potatoes and lukewarm dressing and barely a sign of gravy. We were disappointed in the response from management in the cold plates that were returned and still brought back cold. The pumpkin pie was not pie but a rendition of pumpkin coffee cake. The starters were very good. The one plate of elk chops was very good and piping hot. We will not return.

    Turkey was dark meat scraps, would have expected a full slice if not two slices of turkey breast. The salad wrapped in a cucumber peel portion was small. The salmon was dry. The pumpkin pie was dry and more like a crumb cake than a pie. The butternut squash ravioli and crab cake were very good. Service was slow and waiter even told me it would be slow today. :). Waiter was not familiar with the menu.
