I recently visited Grill 23 with my dining team, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The steaks were cooked to perfection, and even though there was a slight issue with one of the New York strips, it was corrected immediately with just a brief two-minute downtime. Our server was incredibly attentive and apologetic, ensuring everything was perfect throughout our meal. The timing between courses was excellent, and the wine selection was phenomenal. The sommelier’s recommendations were spot on, and the cocktails were delicious. Everything was served at the perfect temperature, and the water was refreshingly cold. A special highlight was the tour of the facilities that Paul, the Assistant Beverage Director, gave us at the end of our visit. It was a delightful and unexpected bonus that truly set the experience apart. As a long-time customer and someone who has seen it all in the dining industry, I can confidently say that Grill 23 stands out as one of the best, if not the best, restaurants in Boston. Kudos to the entire team for an outstanding job—five stars all the way! You’ve got a customer for life.

I had graduation dinner here and ordered the striploin A5. It was potentially the most tender and well prepared wagyu I’ve ever had.

We came here for a graduation dinner and had a wonderful experience. We were seated in a small room upstairs, so the noise from downstairs did not affect us and we were able to enjoy the delicious food and company. The service was impeccable and we even received a free ice cream at the end with a chocolate congratulations on top!

Great service, good food. It's a lovely fine dining restaurant. The shrimp cocktail was amazing. The steaks were delicious and perfectly done. The biggest baked potato! There is an extensive wine menu and fun mocktails too.
