We participated in the Cocktail Crafting with Pour Souls experience. The description of the experience was misleading and they did not deliver what was promised. We ended up paying $85/person for two Guinness drinks, a very lame crafting instruction, a take home 4-pack of beer but absolutely no food (as was promised). Their idea for “small bites” was popcorn and a check mix. Without any food (as was promised when we signed up) most of us were unable to use our second drink ticket on an empty stomach. So we paid for basically one drink, the class, plus a 4 pack of beer to take home. Is that worth $85? I personally don’t think so. They also told us we’d receive the recipe for the mix we made but they did not provide that either. These type of classes should be led by a charismatic and outgoing person who makes the experience fun. Our instructor was just going thru the motions and seemed annoyed when someone asked him a question. This experience was a huge con!

Event was pretty disorganized and only lite bites were popcorn and then some Chex mix at the end. Ingredients were missing at tables - super chaotic. Thought we’d make some different cocktails - really just did one, and didn’t leave with a recipe or anything. Felt bad for our guy from Pour Souls who ran it - he was doing his best amongst the disorganization. They needed more employees from Guinness helping out. Had Irish stew though at the bar after that - that was great and the bartender was attentive (but that was separate from the event).

All of the food and beer were exceptional. We especially liked the dips that came with the big pretzel. all three were excellent.

Food was good. Service was definitely not. Our server left sometime during our meal. Someone else took over. 8 of us and no one could even split the meal. You use Toast. It should have not been an issue. Not a place for large groups.

First time to the new Guinness Brewery. We started with the Winter Warmer Brown Ale, which has notes of vanilla bean, cinnamon and nutmeg - A MUST TRY. It was very good and very smooth, even with an ABV of 7.1%. We got the brown bread appetizer, which also incredible, but I do think they are missing an opportunity by serving it cold, it would be so much better if served warm. The reason for the three stars: 1. I wish they had more stouts/porters on nitro draught, they only had the standard, extra and NA, maybe because others wouldn’t be Guinness, but in my mind, I was expecting it given the similarity in beer types. 2. The food was very rich, they didn’t have much in the way of lighter/non-rich options - although we didn’t try any of the salads, but there can be a happy medium between salad and rich/heavy entrees. We got the Ruben, which was super rich but lacking on flavor (I know that doesn’t make sense, but not sure how else to describe it.). We also got the fish and chips and cheese curds. Couldn’t finish the cheese curds and the fish and chips I had to take the fish out of the batter to finish it.

This was our first visit to Guinness and it won't be our last! We really enjoyed the food, beverages, service and vibe. Parking was rough, but fortunately we got the valet. In the future we'll most likely train in from the burbs. I was afraid it would be too loud to hear each other in our party of 6, but even though it was on the louder side, we were able to talk without yelling. Four of us have been to Ireland recently and though the beer wasn't totally that Ireland taste, we all really enjoyed it. Most of us had the beef stew as recommended by our server and it was delicious! The curds and wings for starters were also tasty. The Guinness sauce on the wings was delicious on its own! Then for dessert we had the creme brulee and the churros with ice cream - again recommended by our server. Don't usually love churros, but this was a great combo with the ice cream. Overall super fun night for a little family reunion!
