Hacienda Kitchen evokes ancient traditions, that contain stories of Costa Ricans who worked hard to harvest the land, where there was a gathering around the preparation of inherited recipes from generation to generation, seasoned with natural ingredients and with a genuine sense of sharing without haste in the heat of the stove in the great kitchens of yesteryear.
Next to the majestic central courtyard of the hotel, you can sit in front of the water fountain that gives life to the patio, or on the terrace overlooking the luscious gardens and golf (driving range), perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The interior area offers a warm characteristic atmosphere of a colonial hacienda.

    Food has very salty, price is high considering it’s traditional Costa Rican food. Ambience & Service are nice.

    We stayed at the Marriott 1 night before our flight left San Jose. We decided to eat at Hacienda Kitchen based on the convenience. We were pleasantly surprised at the menu choices. Everything from traditional Costa Rican food, to other meat and vegetarian options. We sat out on the patio and the view was beautiful. The service was good. I would recommend it.

    Kitchen time was long as per we were warned by the personnel; then, we took the buffet option which was not worth at all, not good flavor and no value/quality balance at all. I do not recommend this places, there are better restaurants near by.

    Hice mi reservación en línea. Llegué a la hora y tuve que hacer fila. Cuando por fin me atendió la host. Me dice estamos llenos. Espera a ver si se desocupa algo. Ni siquiera verificó mi reserva. Entonces no se para que usan este sistema de reservas si de igual manera van a llenar el restaurante de más. Además su atención fue descortés.
