   Handies is always great: From the friendly staff, to the delicious crudo and hand rolls, and all at half what you might pay at some fancier restaurants serving Japanese food. I really like when the chefs experiment with new items not on the regular menu; I’d like it if Handies did that a bit more!

   One of my favourite restaurants in Houston. We’re so lucky it’s only a block away. Exceptional food great service and a lovely intimate atmosphere.

   Terrible service and ambiance, I’m not sure how this places gets the hype it does. After being seated and served drinks, we were asked to shift our seats and forced to sit in an uncomfortable corner of the bar. I’ve never had a restaurant move my seat in the middle of a dinner service. The rolls are lackluster and underwhelming.

   The sushi was so fresh & delicious! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the menu is limited to sushi & sashimi only. Having said that, I believe in restaurants doing the one thing good and not a million choices. Would dine here again & recommend to friends.

   Overall, one of the best meals I've ever eaten in Houston. Asked them just to keep feeding us whatever they thought best and that approach did not disappoint. Really, a great meal. Thank you.
