   I was interested in trying this place. The location is nice, the ambiance is nice, the service is good. We came for dinner, I would be interested in trying it for Dim Sum. There was a mix of Chinese people as well as nonChinese people. The place was pretty busy at dinner on a Saturday evening. We ordered several dishes, peking duck fried calamari, garlic seafood noodles, spicy pork dish. I would say the peking duck was good, but was disappointed with the garlic noodles. The rest of the food was average. It's an above average environment for Chinese food, there are white table cloths. Typical dishes were around $25 each.

   Service was okay I had better service at Koi or HL. Food was 3/5 at best. Chicken wing was Chinese fast food quality. Soup dumplings were best thing on the menu. Peking duck tasted kind of weird.

   Once a dim sum experience but of late it seems the austere ambience much like a coffee shop look with waiters and waitresses dressed in hoodies does not reflect the high prices charged for dim sum one can easily get in Chinatown. The bows remain their high point. Rest of dishes did not stand out like before. Food came out just warm. Disappointed

   Though had a reservation we waited half an hour for table and after being seated for 10 minutes was asked to move to a different table so they could accommodate a different party. Waited another half hour for them to take our order. Peking duck was not good despite being their signature dish. Skin was steamed. Rice showed up 20 minutes after entree and only after reminding them that we ordered it. Meat was like warm at best. Side of vegetables showed up another 10 minutes later. Food overall was unremarkable. Servers were definitely busy but total chaos in there. Struggling to understand why they are so packed.

   Excellent good consistently. The place has a different ‘feel’ than your typical Chinese restaurant

   Great place for some comfort Chinese food in downtown San Francisco. The BBQ duck was a bit greasy, but everything else was spectacular.

   Service in terms of attentiveness is poor. The food and ambience is above average. There is probably better food at a cheaper price out in China town but if you want a safe but a little pricey experience, this is the place.

   Went for a bday dim sum. Asked specifically for a table with a view in my rsvp. When I got there, they put us in the back in a dark room on different side of the main dining hall. The main dining hall is the one with the view. There was a very grumpy Chinese guy who scolded us for entering the wrong door given that they have multiple doors. I mentioned my RSVP and said I wanted to be seated in the main room with a view and they said my group had to wait. However there were empty tables so they called us after 5 min. Food was okay, nothing was any more special than your regular tiny dim sum places on Clement St. It was very noisy was the main dining hall was not too big. The view of Pier 1 was nice. Overall, the experience didn’t feel any special for a bday celebration and I wouldn’t come back.

    The experience didn’t start well when we arrived on time for our reservation and the hostess tried to seat us in the bar area. We were a group of six celebrating a birthday and the atmosphere was not appropriate. I decided that she was overly dismissive when I requested a table with a view towards the ferry building on the other side. It was not busy in fact it was dead. I had to pretty pretty assertive, but we did get moved to a private area by the bussing station on the other side. I’m really glad I pushed as it changed the whole vibe. We got a very attentive waiter and the rest of the visit was excellent. Food was delicious, they did forget to bring one order of dim sum so only half got them. We eventually got the other half. I’m always surprised when a restaurant does not treat its visitors with respect at the front door.
