   Harry’s has always been a standout for our trips to Cancun. Over the last few years, the restaurant has slowly transformed itself into a quasi club environment with loud club style music (standard tunes with a club thumping beat). The food was excellent but for the first time the service was lacking. Out first course and drinks were delivered quickly but we ended up waiting over an hour for our entree to arrive. The floor manager apologized and comped us a free appetizer that unfortunately only half our party liked (beef carpaccio). Apparently they either forgot to put the order open or the kitchen lost it. Again, the food was very good when it came. We were given a discount card for free drinks for our next dinner but that was not really of any use to us. There seems to be a trend in the hotel zone for upscale dining establishments to bring in the club type atmosphere. The same thing happened at La Buena Barra in the hotel zone. It slowly transformed into a club atmosphere with a DJ and flor walking entertainers. Both places are loud and difficult to hold a conversation over the table. Sadly we will be going to Puerto Madero and Cambalacha for our steak dinners from now on. The prices are too high for a fine dining experience to have to not be able to converse during dinner. We will not be going back.

   Our servers were fantastic! The food was excellent but pricey. This is a great spot for a fine dining evening. I loved the complimentary cotton candy. Skip the lemon pie and order the molten chocolate cake.

   Our favorite Cancun restaurant! Excellent food and service. Had lobster bisque, Caesar salad and hamburger sliders this time. Have had the filet before. Everything on the menu is great.

    Amazing meal and service. The bread was to die for, the steak was perfect and the service was 1st class. We managed to catch the sunset across the lagoon and the background music was just my jam - club remixes of all my fave 70s, 80s and 90s dance music - loud enough to vibe to but not so loud to over power your conversation. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a special evening out.
