   Our first visit and what an excellent venue, great location in James Street and oozes atmosphere. Food, wine and service were wonderful, a most enjoyable experience

   We’ve been Harry’s a few times and had a good experience, today we were here for lunch and it was the opposite. When the receptionist was seating us down we asked for a different table since we were going to order a lot of food and we were surrounded by empty tables but the receptionist said no since the tables were “closed”. After we ordered our starters and the waiter was setting our table, she placed some sharing plates, right after placing one in front of me on the table she wiped something off the plate with her hand and left. Upon closer inspection we had to wipe the plates with our napkins. The starters were nice and hot, but when our mains came, after taking a few bites, my friend found a piece of solid wallpaper in her food. Two waiters came to inspect, apologised and asked if she liked another plate of pasta she said yes so they took the plate away. A few minutes later a manager called Bogdan came back with the plate that was taken away and insisted that it was the salt that she put on top. I’m sorry but we clearly know the difference between salt and a piece of paper/wallpaper. He insisted it was that and gave her plate back in a rude manner. Also who would give back a plate of food that was taken away to another room? And if the piece of paper was truly salt why did he take it away? The restaurant got a bit busy so we had to wait a while for someone to clear our table and take our dessert order. We asked for service charge off since our experience wasn’t great and they asked us why as if it wasn’t obvious.

   Hannah Age: Exactly 6 Today was my birthday and a went to Harry’s for my birthday. Today was the best day ever. I had chicken and chips: the best ever! Better than chicken nuggets. I sent a message to the chef to tell him so. Then we had desert: we had the Red spotty mushroom desert which was so yummy. Mummy had the chocolate milli something and lost the will to live! Abdul was our waiter and he was the best! I want to come back for my 7th Birthday! Hannah

   Service for initial drinks order very slow and in addition delivery of drinks once ordered super slow. Maybe short staffed ?

   We had a table at the back of the restaurant which was quiet enough to chat. Service was great and the desert special of Harry's toadstool was amazing. Overall a great evening with good ambience.

   Good selection of food at fair prices and tasty. The venue is bustling and has a good vibe. The staff very friendly. They missed a dish that we ordered which was annoying but otherwise a good experience and I would return.

   We were excited to try Harry's after seeing so many great reviews, but the experience felt a bit rushed. My husband's steak arrived just 7 minutes after ordering, and my starter came together with the main course - which made it hard to enjoy the meal at a relaxed pace. The food was okay, but the atmosphere felt more fast-paced than we expected for a nice Italian dinner. We were hoping for a slower, more memorable experience.

    Lovely restaurant. Great ambiance and nice tables spaces. Food was very good. Pasta verdi was excellent.
