Harry’s Restaurant in Exeter is set in the heart of the city and has been gratifying appetites for 26 years. Rated as one of the best restaurants in Exeter on TripAdvisor, Harry’s has established itself to become the go-to dining den on the neighbourhood food scene.

Founded in 1993 by the Pounds family, Harry’s is still independently owned and run today. The eclectic restaurant, bar and private dining room all sit within the iconic gothic style building, formerly Harry Hems’ 19th century architectural sculptors workshop.

    Excellent food, the arancini were sublime, mains excellent, we went for lunch I had tagliatto steak, there was so much we had half of it boxed up to take away, will make excellent lunch sandwiches!! Hubby has tiramisu, super light not stodgy. Took away four rolls, no one is getting my last rolo😂

    Fantastic venue nicely decorated and great atmosphere - very chilled with good music. Had the arancini and sourdough starters both excellent. The burrata pasta main and crab pasta main were both delicious. The Harry’s burger unfortunately was very dry and wouldn’t recommend. Would definitely return when next in Exeter.

    Nice decor. We were co-served by two people. One was excellent that other was decent. The food was outstanding. The Mediterranean Salad was the best salad I have ever had. My partner ordered crab linguini and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Prices were competitive. Would attend to Harry's again without hesitation.

    Just love this place....the food is so good, the staff are amazing and the atmosphere is friendly. Gotta mention Amy....Harry's wouldn't be Harry's without Amy.....well the food does make up for it when she isn't there. 🤷‍♀️

    We had a lovely evening meal at Harry’s, I’m not one to leave a review but the Lamb dish on the Special’s menu and the Raspberry Bakewell Tart was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to re visit again in the future.
