   Wonderful food, comfortable, nice ambiance, great service and tables are placed far enough apart that you can have a private conversation with friends. Had the baja tacos for lunch, very fresh and great taste. Would recommend Hart’s.

   Great night celebrating my DIL’s 40th BD. Would highly recommend. Great spot for a first date or celebration.

   We’ve been to Hart’s Table & Bar several times and usually have a great experience, but this visit was disappointing. Food: The cauliflower fritto was not as good as the version at their sister restaurant, The Parlour—the batter was too thick, under-seasoned, and missing the charred lemon it was supposed to come with. The avocado toast was also a letdown, as the eggs were overcooked despite asking for them slightly runny. The coffee was much weaker than expected, and when I asked about a stronger option, the server simply said no without offering an alternative. My husband’s chicken and waffles were fine but nothing special, and his tea cup was dirty, requiring a replacement. Service: Our server seemed busy with other tables and was slow to check on us. We had to call out a couple of times for attention. When it came time to pay, her attitude changed, and she suddenly became more engaged, but by that point, we were already disappointed. A manager never followed up, which would have made a difference. Ambiance: As always, the atmosphere was great—warm, inviting, and well-designed. Overall, we know Hart’s can do better based on past visits, but this time, the food and service didn’t meet expectations. Hopefully, it was just an off day.

   It was our first time visiting this place. We had a gift card for the Century group of restaurants and this was one of the only places in SW Edmonton that we could use it for. Didn’t know what to expect. Played it safe and ordered a couple of salads - a salmon cob salad and the steak with avocado salad. Cob salad was decent, but wasn’t served in a bowl which made it more difficult to eat - unlike the steak and avocado. That salad, however, wasn’t as good. Steak was cold and very bland - not seasoned well, if at all. Rest of the salad was not bad though. Neither salad seemed worth the price - over $25 each for mediocre quality.

    Harts table is are go to local restaurant for great food at an affordable price. Our recent experience on January 17 did not disappoint. We took advantage of Happy Hour and ordered some wine and we decided to order a starter, perogies and mundare sausage, Baba's recipe which we shared. "Shut the front door"! Absolutely fantastic! I ordered the linguine & shrimp and my wife ordered the chicken lettuce. Both dishes were fabulous. Finally I want to compliment are personable excellent server, Jules who really made are evening with her professional service and timing. Thank you! I highly recommend and we will be back soon!
