Went with a couple of old friends. Lovely atmosphere, great service, and fantastic food. This is a quality restaurant, and a business which understands its product and its customers. Fixed price menu was amazing, although I could not split the potted beef, yorkshires and onion gravy starter, from the tender flavourful rump steak or the sticky toffee sundae in my vote. Took a late lunch slot for a relaxing afternoon. Well done as usual, Hawksmoor People. Don’t change.

Lovely lunch experience. Quiet but I can imagine ic could get quite loud when filled. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was excellent. Oysters were extremely fresh.

Eat at Hawksmoor quite frequently and usually forgive the premium pricing for good quality food. However, my rib eye was over cooked on this occasion and so a little dry and lacked the usual flavour. May try Smith & W next time.

You can't beat a good Hawksmoor steak. Yes, it's pricey, but worth it every now and then. Great service too and this is my favourite branch - very well managed. Would just like it if they offered the fries to be unsalted as there is a lot of salt on the steak anyway

3 perfectly cooked steaks, martinis, wine and cocktails. Epic night. Thanks to the team who looked after us, specifically Sylvester who kept everything flowing.

Sadly more of a mixed bag than we’d hoped for. The positives were the fantastically friendly and welcoming staff and the impeccable service. A very kind touch of a glass of sparkling wine to celebrate my wife’s birthday was really appreciated and the food was very good. The prime rib we shared was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented but given the price at well north of £110 didn’t blow us away as we’d hoped and expected. Starters were good but the deserts were probably the food highlight. Our main disappointment was that despite reserving the table over a month ago - we were put on a table away from the main ‘buzzy’ part of the restaurant and for a large part of the evening were the only people over a 6 table area

Service was a bit abrupt, more business like than friendly. Didn’t like being given a ‘warning’ that they would have to take the table back in 15 mins time if we didn’t promptly order desserts. We had been sitting there for 90 minutes and the restaurant had quite a few free tables. Wine overpriced but very enjoyable meal, we will probably go back despite these grumbles.
