   Outstanding on all fronts on Monday BYOB 5 pounds corkage. Only issue was price of small tin of lager at 6.75 a bit excessive. Looking forward to next visit.

   Absolutely amazing always go to the Liverpool branch and this one holds the same in every positive way the building was amazing the food was beautiful and the service was impeccable thanks to our waiter who kindly give us a complimentery starter will be back soon as we’re back in Edinburgh

   It was okay. Wine prices too high. Food was not the best Sunday roast I’ve had. It was ok but wouldn’t recommend

   Nice food and atmosphere but service is really lacking. From the rude coat check staff to our abrupt waitress poor service all round. One of our party was still eating when one of her side dishes was hastily cleared from the table. We raised it with the waitress and she just shrugged. We paid £60 service charge which I wish I had asked to be removed but they were really pushing us out of the door to free up the table for the next seating. When we got back to the coat check area it was completely jammed with any interactions with the staff just met with a scowl.

   Had better steaks and starters at much cheaper rates the sticky toffee puffing was best part of meal the latte was too strong more like a double shot espresso than a latte. For the £ I’d expect much better.

    Very good meal Hawksmoor Edinburgh. Restaurant is large but very nice on the inside. Staff were very friendly and attentive and quality of the food was excellent. Not much more you can ask for! Would say it was a little pricey for what it is, but did completely deliver on expectations. Will definitely go back.
