   Although the food was great, we stood at the entrance waiting to be seated for quite a while. Eventually we wandered into the seating area and walked up to a member of the waitstaff, who was apologetic and very hehelpfulour booking was for 7 people, but I had updated it online to 9 people. When I received the text asking me to confirm, it stated 7 people. I tried contacting the restaurant several times without any response. I tried altering the booking again to 9 people, but the app said there was no availability for a table that size at the booked time. The staff in person apologised for this (they had apparently all been far too busy to answer the phone or respond to online messages for three days straight) and quickly and easily accommodated us - there was (despite what the app had said) PLENTY of available seating. So, the restaurant itself was good, the staff in person very helpful and the find was tasty (if a bit expensive for the portion sizes). Unfortunately, the booking system is clearly in need of some work!

   Very nice for lunch looking forward to the menu expanding. Food was very good the service was excellent. Miss the old character of the restaurant it’s a little’ clinical ‘

   Disappointing breakfast. Hard, dry poached eggs on Sourdough ( the only bread option) Very small cups of coffee for the regular size cost. Coffee bitter & not hot enough.

   Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and interesting, yummy food made our school friends catch up exceptionally memorable. We left as the staff began setting tables for the ‘second shift’ - dinner guests and we were never asked to go but allowed to chat and relax in the beautiful surrounds. Thankyou to the staff at Hazel. We will return.

   A beautiful relaxing venue at Hazelhurst is the first thing. The food was delicious and exceptional. The menu offers a good variety and the shared plates if selected makes it even more enjoyable. We can't wait to return. Well done Hazel!

   Pretty Average, pasta was undercooked with undercooked peas. Sorta looked like something you’d put together when there isn’t much food in the fridge. Over priced.

   Overall a pleasant experience: The food and location lovely but the service, while engaging when contact was made, was scattered the staff not alert to the needs of the customer. The restaurant was noisy and it was hard to hear conversations. .Probably the most annoying thing was there is no way to have direct communication with the restaurant to let them know we were running a little late, and ask them to hold our table.

    Again another sensational dining experience at Hazel. Different ambience of an evening however just as fabulous! Thank you Alex for looking after us. Thank you chef for an excellent menu creation Thank you Michael for your extensive wine knowledge - the Shugoro was outstanding & such a very pleasant surprise!
