   Polite attention with an easy explanation of the specials and the table service. The meals were really good… finally chicken that was tender, tasty and not pre “made” or bought in but seemed to be house prepared. The pork belly special was so good that the person who had it said they could eat another serve as it was so delicious. Would definitely recommend.

   Very pleasant, polite wait staff, meals were good size & quality, however, we did only receive 2 meals out of 4 and after a few minutes, had to ask/remind for other 2 but then those came immediately.

   We enjoyed the ambience but I am allergic to onions therefore unfortunately I couldn’t find anything without onions other than fish and chips. 🙃 maybe consider using an onion substitute for some dishes as an option for people like us.

   Previously the Sunday Roast has been one of the hotels notable event This time in 2024 it was the worst roast ever - the meat wasn’t a nice piece of roast beef at all - The hotel roast needs to lift its game

    Hello, Ive enjoyed this room over many years. This visit the staff were not on the case. they were very busy chatting behind the bar and neglecting the service. The room wasn't particularly full which made the absentee staff seem even more neglectful. Side dishes are delivered well after the main course was delivered, even after a reminder, and the charred broccolini was charcoal. Our table of diners was so worn-out trying to garner servers attention, the thought of enduring the wait for dessert meant the meal was abandoned . its a lovely building but there no longer a reason to go.
