   The building and ambience were great. Our seating was upstairs and cramped - so close to the table behind that I was frequently bumped by people passing through. The food was ok. Pumpkin soup watery and flavorless except for sharp cloves. Green beans overdone and under seasoned. Steaks done perfectly and best part of meal. Overall disappointing experience and wish I would have chosen elsewhere

   The bartenders were nice but took a long time to get drinks bc they were so deeply interacting with everyone. Not a big deal when it’s not busy but it was busy! The ambiance was great, music was a tad bit too loud but good. Staff seemed like they were short staffed. We ordered a glass of wine when we ordered food to be brought out together but we didn’t get our drinks til after we finished our meals. The steaks were over cooked, the scallops we had to send back bc they weren’t fresh. I had the crab crusted redfish. I don’t know why one would add crab to a measly piece of redfish just to crisp it. Makes no sense. Use panko or something. That was a waste of crab meat. The green beans were delicious and the bread pudding was as well. The rest of the food was awful. I had family in town and thought this might be a great place to celebrate them but all in all super disappointing.

   At first we were told our reservations were for a high back table. I would not make a reservation for a bar stool. Open table gave me no choice. The Manage made it right and sat us on the second floor over looking the restaurant. The service was great and the food was excellent.

   I waited nearly an hour to receive my mail plates from the moment I placed the order. I was never informed my food was running late until I asked. Even getting my receipt took forever. Seriously disappointing.

   I'll never go back to this restaurant. Staff is rude and slow. We were stuck in a corner upstairs - horrible ambiance. Hostess tried to seat me and my chair was in the aisle and I was like there's no room and she just looked at me like I was crazy. Nope, too many good restaurants in Houston to deal with this type of hospitality.

   The first time we visited this restaurant it was a great experience. This time..not so much. Our waiter was slow to greet us, not personable or kind asked us if “yall want anything” in place of asking us about drinks or appetizers. There was a group of what seemed to be late teens early 20s employees at a table adjacent to us and at the bar who were pretty rowdy. Our waiter was more concerned with entertaining them than checking on us. The place is nice though, food too except the corn casserole, it is NOT corn casserole. Just corn with maybe..sour cream and lime? Not sure what that’s about but the main plates were delicious!

   There was a mix-up with our reservation for 9, but they were able to fix it and seat us promptly. Great menu selections, efficient service and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

   Chicken milanese was delicious and flavorful. The corn fritters on the bread board were my favorite but the other rolls were just ok.
