    Lori our server was a delight and she was there for us with cuisine explanation and good timing. The food was exquisite and delicious. True 5 star dining. Stephen D Green the executive chef was outstanding. Everything was perfect. The decor was warm in tone, comfortable and eye pleasing. I will be back again. I can hardly wait!

    This was our 3rd or 4th trip to Heron’s. The service is outstanding. It makes one wonder who is coordinating the timing behind the scenes. From glasses being refilled to wine glasses being replaced just in time for the next wine in paired tasting … the service was on point. The food was very good with the duck being the highlight. We did the predefined chef’s 5 course dinner. All courses were delish with garnishes and little “side nuggets” (I know that’s not the official name for them) that made the taste buds go “oh!”. Presentation was creative and appealing but we expected nothing less. The New York strip (4th course) was not as tender as we had hoped, but we later learned that we could have upgraded that course to wagyu. Next time we’ll know. Overall a great experience and consistent with what we expect from Heron’s.

    The service as always was professional, friendly and terrific. And the food delicious with a beautiful presentation. Our server couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.

    Overall it was better than OK, but not at all the 5 star food I was hoping for. To be fair this could just be my preferences. I was not a fan of the seasonal omelette . I will never send food back to the kitchen so to be fair, I did not tell the staff. For my preferences the eggs were a bit undercooked and the omelette was bland. The potatoes were great though. We also felt that my wife’s shrimp in the shrimp and grits had been a bit under cooked and chewy. The overall flavor of the dish was excellent. When we heat up the leftovers the shrimp will be just about right hopefully. I would like to add that the Tiramisu was outstanding. So kinda a mixed bag for my family.

    We have been lucky to celebrate our anniversary at Herons a few times and it never dissappoints. The food is unique and delicious. The service is thoughtful and attentive.

    We enjoyed our dinner at Herons. The portion sizes are generous. My husband really loved the beef tenderloin and I enjoyed the nigiri omakase.
