   Really great place - my new favorite in Manchester. From the moment you arrive this is a special experience - highly recommended. Food is amazing, and interesting - nothing boring on this menu! Plus - great wine list and the team are all friendly and helpful.

   Had a lovely meal here for my other half’s birthday. Counter seats, seasonal shared menu, and a bottle of wine. Food was delicious, really well cooked and great flavour. Wine was very nice and not a crazy price. Service was great, really friendly and personable. Atmosphere is great. Definitely recommend it.

   What a great find. A relaxed feel but delicious food and excellent service. We had the tasting menu and enjoyed all the courses, a really great mix. Would highly recommend.

   The only slight issue is the price of the wines. Flawd wine are the suppliers I believe. Merely chose a glass of Pinot Noir for myself and my wife, this was £30. Pleasant enough wine but for two small glasses which equates to less than half a bottle. Thought it was a little on the steep side. Please understand this is not a negative. As the whole experience was very good. 🤩

   Great British modern food, we went for the lunch menu with a selection of their seasonal dishes. Very tasty and attention to detail was great, lots of variety and the sharing concept was fab too. Loved it & would highly recommend to anyone who is a foodie! I can see what the hype is all about!

    Had been meaning to try Higher Ground for a while after popping in one night just for a few glasses of wine. Very very glad we decided to come back for their lunch menu. Extremely friendly and genuine staff, very helpful with the menu and the food was fantastic. I recommend the bar top, counter seating where you can watch the chefs in the open style kitchen. Fantastic place and will definitely be back again soon.
