   The roasted chicken in blood orange sauce with sweet potato gnocchi was outstanding. Fish fry tasted good according to hubby, but he was disappointed that his fish was like fish fingers and would have preferred a filet for $17. We arrived around 5:45 and it was a bit "boisterous" due to golfers who had just finished their rounds for the day, but it became quieter after 6 p.m. Our waiter was very attentive. Overall, a pleasant dinner. (However, when you re-did the decorating, a wallpaper that was a little bit more subdued would have been less jarring.)

   The tomato soup was more the consistency of spaghetti sauce, very unappetizing, and not good tasting. Only ate a small portion and was sick to my stomach after I got home. Fish portions in fish and chips were much smaller than in past.

   It was our first time there .. Four old guy golfers from Pittsburgh on a 10 day golf trip. We found the food to be quite good ( and a nice selection) . Our server was knowledgeable,efficient and friendly. Good manhattan too A good vibe! I recommend

   Smoke Fish Dip not ready yet at 6:30pm on a Saturday night No pork chop or arancini tater tots French Dip too grizzly to eat 6 out of the 7 meals were delicious! Seated at window, which we loved, but windows needed a shade screen as the sun was at a blinding angle. We would recommend it but we probably will not return ourselves.

   This is my second time trying this restaurant after a round of golf..my last experience was not good at all. Some improvement this time. Service was quicker and staff were very pleasant. I had the home made chips with a caramelized onion dip as an appetizer which was excellent. I ordered the burger again which was excellent but the fries were soggy and limp and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The noise level was horrible. I could barely hear my two friends who dined with me. Grant it it was 7pm on a Friday and there were several celebrations going on but it was not relaxing at all. My friends enjoyed their food. They had the fish spread which they said was very fishy and not creamy enough. Their entrees were satisfactory. Next time I may try it on a week night to see if the noise is a little better.

   It was our first experience with Highland House, and we were very impressed with the whole experience. The service was the best we experienced since being in Fl. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely return to this establishment.

   It is definitely a go to for us. It’s a great place. The prices are reasonable and the service is always very good even though they’re busy but they do their best to keep up.

    Food was good love the tater tot shaped rice balls very cheesy. Pass on the desserts. Dining room was very loud ( no one using indoor voices.
