The Private Room is a functional space, but thanks to the half-moon window, prettily tiled floor and stone fireplace, it’s aesthetically pleasing as well. Available to hire for standing or seated functions, with a capacity of 45 or 33 guests respectively, the Private Room is ideal for business meetings, corporate lunches, special occasion dinners and cocktail parties. The glass doors and dividers assure the privacy of your event. We can fit up to 24 people in an imperial rectangular long table or up to 33 people in 3 round tables.

A favourite. Been many times. This was not their best! Too busy with Xmas parties. Table at top of stairs, opposite WCs on the mezzanine but not told in advance. Two nearly broken chairs at our table. Waitress got stroppy and said “You need permission to swap”, when my friend and I tried to change them. Then she ignored us for 20-mins as we sat looking at our menus with a glass of water. I finally complained to the manager who then served us and looked after us very well for the rest of the time. He was very good. I really like this place and every other experience has been 5*. This felt rushed and just too busy. It happens but it’s a big bill for average (at best).

Great lunch as always, shame we were rushed as there was a Christmas party in the evening which kind of ruined it and we would have enjoyed more food. The restaurant should have let us know before the night before that we would be asked to leave at 3pm and we could have arranged to arrive earlier.

The food was amazing (and well priced for the quality), the staff were very attentive and polite; however the wine list was extremely expensive, and this somewhat spoilt the experience
