"Hidden away in the heart of the touristic town of Holmfirth, Holmfirth Tavern offers a great range of Local Craft Beers, showcasing Three Fiends on our taps, along with a wide range of Beers from around the world in our fridges.Chris (The Owner) first trained as a bar tender in Walt Disney World working in the busiest bar on property. He developed a masterclass in making cocktails to please a wide range of audiences, along with an in depth knowledge of liquor, wine and beer.Customer service skills that are second to none and as a travelled bar tender has great stories to share.Chris also has a passion for playing music and when not making cocktails can be found upstairs playing and singing on his guitar."

Definitely recommend the onion rings. The boneless wings were amazing. Bar staff were very attentive. We had a fantastic night & will 100% be returning.

Ate here on Saturday evening prior to attending concert in venue next door. Food lovely, live entertainment enhanced experience. Staff very friendly and even called next day to inform we had left our glasses on table which they had put aside for safe keeping. First time but will be back. Thank you

Absolutely superb place. My partner and I always like to have a drive somewhere on a Sunday and this place was recommended to us Food was excellent, the service from the girl behind the bar was top notch and a fantastic atmosphere in the place Definitely on our list to revisit, if not just for the fried pickles alone!

Fantastic venue! The food is simply outstanding; cooked fresh, hot and tasty and great value (I’d recommend the bratwurst). There is a brilliant selection of beers too, the staff are chatty, pleasant and very welcoming, and it’s all less than 50m from the Picturedrome. Can’t wait to come back again.

Booked a table here in advance of a gig at The Picturedrome. Great location just next to it . Very friendly welcome by the barman and good efficient service . Had one of their burgers ( choose your own ) and although I’m not really a burger person this was delicious with a generous portion of chips . Lovely pre concert meal in a nice little pub . Well recommended .
