Honeysuckle is more than a restaurant. It’s a network of community spaces centered around the values of ancestry, nourishment, and reclamation that was founded by James Beard Award Semifinalists Chef Omar Tate and Chef Cybille St.Aude-Tate. In 2022 they opened Honeysuckle Provisions, an award winning afro-centric grocery/cafe and food-focused community space located in West Philadelphia. Now positioned in the North Broad area of Philadelphia, Honeysuckle offers a fresh perspective on food systems - expanding the idea of Afrocentricity in food by redefining the limits of a restaurant and celebrating the legacies and recipes of those that came before them.

    A wonderful experience overall. The space was beautiful and staff was friendly and attentive. The food was really remarkable with generous portions and dynamic flavors. Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants in the city.

    A lovely space with wonderful service and amazing food! I had been trying for some time to visit his earlier space with no luck, but finally had an opportunity and it was worth the wait and the drive. Get the burger! We will be back.

    Honeysuckle is a wonderful culinary experience. Very thoughtful and well executed food. The Haitian influenced pasta and the chicken entree are two highlights. The other dishes were also excellent. Service and presentation were strong. The vibe of the restaurant is artsy, but not pretentious. Had a chance to speak to the owner about his displayed artwork. Super cool evening. Definitely recommend.

    I just left Honeysuckle Provisions to celebrate my mom's birthday. You guys... 10/10. Black-owned. Dishes from the diaspora. A lot of Haitian ingredients. They have their own farm and all the veggies were super fresh and they have their own fermentation center. We were there for about 2.5 hours because you are meant to sit and enjoy your company. Perfect for a date night or an occasion dinner. It's a prefix meal and it's 95pp. You have to pay ahead. The experience was well worth it and the food was so adventurous. The decor is communal and makes you feel like you're at home. Service was great too.

    Spectacular meal! Highly recommend especially the black Caesar and the sweet potato but the entire meal was so delicious and the space is beautiful.
