The food was terrific. While the menu looks similar to before the fire, the dishes are prepared a level up. Service was outstanding.

What a fantastic place right on the water with truly delicious food, cocktails, respectable wine list, great service and beautiful venue! Will definitely be coming back!!! We really enjoyed the poke, carpaccio, and burrata apps. LOVED our fish special entrees followed by the scrumptious lilikoi tart and coconut banana cream pie for dessert!!!

Each dish was exceptional! I had the mahi mahi dore which was the most flavorful I’ve had on the island. My husband had the mahi mahi fish and chips. Again the mahi mahi was not dry or greasy. Would highly recommend for a bit more elevated island cuisine.

The best meal we had in Maui! Meghan, our server, was great and made amazing recommendations. Cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and desserts all phenomenal!

We ate at Honu two years ago and had a wonderful experience so were eager to visit again when they reopened. Our first experience was so great we followed it by four more. The staff, including Annabelle, Stanley, Gee and Justin,the owner, made the evenings so much fun we didn’t want to go anywhere else. Everything we tried on the menu was delicious and cooked to perfection. When we called for reservations, we requested the bar because of the great atmosphere and the beautiful view. We fell in love with the modern and sophisticated design of the restaurant itself and were super impressed with the way it all came together. Aloha! Such a beautiful setting! Justin was wonderful! I’m GF so I was excited for the pizza. I’m sorry, the crust was NOT good! I couldn’t eat it. Undercooked…. I just don’t know what happened! I was so bummed I didn’t choose something else. Everyone else loved their meals though. 💔

Service, staff and food were amazing. Fish and short rib -outstanding. Personalized conversation at the bar , sommelier was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Honu Oceanside was an incredible dining experience. Highly recommend this establishment as it embodies the “purest taste of Maui” on the island. Crab Mac & Cheese was excellent as was the Ahi Bruschette!
