Nothing quite captures the spirit of a Cornish summer than following a summertime dip in its azure waters with a plate of lusciously fresh local seafood. Happily, that's just the experience to be found here at Beach House Falmouth, which is just yards from the shore of Swanpool beach near Falmouth.

Visit to experience local, sustainable seafood such as Falmouth Bay scallops, Falmouth Bay lobster or crab, whole fish from Newlyn Fish Market or a Shellfish Platter to share, all designed to satiate the appetite of any sandy‑toed gourmet. We are open from 9am every day, serving food all day.

Dogs are welcome everywhere!

Food was incredible and plated beautifully, but it is very cold to sit under the covered awning.

Service was extremely disorganized and compulsory service charge for this experience. Sadly the poor service takes away from the food and left a feeling of disappointment

Delicious!!! Fresh, tasty, great choice of dishes. A real treat of an evening! Lovely friendly staff and we could take our dog into the restaurant, so that was so nice, we would have been happy in the covered outer area but our host invited us in! Love the refurb too! We’ll be back! Thank you

This is Hooked on the Rocks, just a lick of paint and new name. The menu for lunch was very similar but why take off the stable ‘fish & chips’ is beyond me. Overall the people serving were very good however as with its predecessor the time to deliver was poor unless you were sat with the new owners!! They still have the same issue in that the main restaurant area was cold, if they insist on having the outside area at least have a heater at the door to stop the cold. At the end we had to put our coats on!!! Overall expensive meal for what we had and assume just paying for the location and the new lick of paint 🤦‍♂️

Accepting it was the opening day, our greeting was poor with quite a grumpy girl. Service was sadly slow for drinks and food service. We want to be positive as this is potentially the most amazing restaurant in Falmouth for location. Poor menu choice and not very exciting-breaded duck leg was very over seasoned and the Fritto Misto was scanty and very overcooked (for £28!). We have lived near Swanpool for 10 years and were so excited to have a “ New” management restaurant so understandably we’re very disappointed. The overall bill was incredibly expensive for the 5 of us.

Absolutely gorgeous. Not a single fault! The food was incredible; we particularly like the small plates and starters. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely 10/10.

The portion of place was rather small with one scoop of mashed potato and no vegetables served with the dish. My partner’s fish and chips was an ample portion with a good selection of condiments. Food was good but pricey for what we ate. It was a very cold evening and the restaurant was on the cold side and the toilets were freezing. Good selection of non alcoholic drinks.

The restaurant has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not value for money. Portion sizes are rather small and average wine is very expensive. For a seafood restaurant, it’s pretty basic and excessively priced.
