   Nice place for lunch; good food, great service. The harbor is now not being used (since Covid) which I’m sure hurt the restaurant but it survives and is still a nice place to eat.

   We always have a great lunch at Horatio's! Beautiful views! The crab and spinach dip is outstanding. Always appreciate the great energy and kindness as well!

   Dinner at Horatio's is always a treat, but their special occasion menus are exquisite. We were treated to the Valentine's Day menu this visit so it was a whole other level of tasty. My husband enjoyed the prime rib and I had the filet and shrimp. We both started with the Point Reyes bleu cheese salad and wrapped up with their mouth watering creme brulee. The service was their usual superb. We have never been disappointed in Horatio's service in the almost three decades we've been eating here. All the stars!

   Perfect date night. We were seated by the window to see the sunset. The food was great and our server was amazing!! Will definitely go back

   The waitress was a little slow and the prime rib was a little harder than usual, but other than that, the usual Horatio's excellence.

   Our friends ordered the Valentine’s Day three-course dinner. They loved each course. My husband had the pork chop, and he also loved it. Our server was so courteous and nice.

   We made a reservation but still had to wait and then we were seated in the bar. We asked for a different table in the dining room. The hostess was quite rude and difficult: telling us that reservations don’t guarantee anything. I told her that I understood that but I made the reservation more than a week in advance, that we were celebrating two birthdays and didn’t want to be seated in the loud bar with televisions blasting. She then very rudely responded that we’d have to wait again because she doesn’t have servers coming in until 5:30 which was an hour past our reservation and about 45 minutes from the current time. So we waited again and were finally seated in the dining room at a window table as requested in our reservation. Everything else was fantastic especially our waiter who was in training. It’s unfortunate that our initial experience was so bad…we almost walked out and will think twice about returning. It’s not nice to be greeted with such rudeness and then be completely ignored when leaving an establishment that you just dropped $300 at for a meal. I’m sure that I can find better places that will be happier for my patronage! Too bad Horatio’s…we’ve been coming here for more than 20 years and it was once a very special place for us. Not so much any more!

   My wife and I have been to Horatio's several times recently. All meals were for one of the Holidays. Xmas, New Years and Valentines Day. We went back because the reservations and seating, meal service and food were very good to outstanding, consistently. This visit, out server was Eric who was, like previous meals, friendly and efficient eve with a holiday crowd. Food was tasty and more than ample. The Holiday "for two" , menu choices were well thought out. We will continue to visit Horatio's, next time for a non-holiday meal. GN Alameda., CA

    The food was AMAZING! So glad some of the original faves from the Kincaid’s menu is still in place. The chef and kitchen crew showed out!!!
