   Food was excellent, coffee even better. Service was friendly and there was a welcoming fire in the fireplace. The place to go in Daylesford.

   Food was good however we got very poor service. Barely shown to our table, not given menus or approached with water or anything at all. Ended up ordering through the QR code because we had sat there for 20 mins without anyone coming up to us.

   Poor service for a restaurant that was not really busy. Entrees and mains came out together (we did not request this) one main came out when others had almost finished theirs (it was soup!). Sauce for Churros was ice cream topping. Again one dessert came out then other 3 were served much later. It was uncomfortably warm inside so much so that we took turns going outside to cool down. We asked if air conditioning could be turned on we were told other patrons needed to be asked first, other patrons agreed. We didn’t see the server again for about 15mins as they were not giving us any eye contact, I finally left my seat to ask for the cooling to be turned on again, this was then done. Overall not a great experience the food was average and the service was terrible! Would not recommend.

   Three adults, one teenager, something on the menu for everyone. Relaxed atmosphere but with busy vibe.

   We both enjoyed our meal at Hotel Frangos on Saturday night. However the wait for the food was close to 40 mins which we felt was too long. The food was very good and we were able to take home what we didn’t eat which was a bonus.

   After booking a table for five, accepting that I would be charged $25 pp if we arrived past the grace time of 15 minutes, our party arrived to a lacklustre welcome, no table allocated or set. We were told just pick anywhere you want, just not a certain section where tables WERE allocated. We chose a table that was hurriedly cleaned and set. Food was reasonable, two salmons came out cold and over cooked, burgers were ok. Underwhelming to say the least.

   We reserved a table. It wasn’t set when we arrived contrary to it being reasonably quiet. Two meals arrived at the end of everyone eating. Two waiters mocked me in French when I complained (one of the guys on our table is French- idiots). Prawns had tails on it. Clueless staff. Food was average.

   Pizza was sloppy. Pinot noir we had gave my partner and I instead headaches and stomach pain. At $30 for the pizza, it should have been amazing but it wasn’t good.

   Food was ok (tasty) but entrees (order as entrees) came out with the main courses (ordered as main courses)! Unlikely to go again until the place lifts its game.
