    Few structures on the beach front capture Bondi’s mystique like Hotel Ravesis. Built in 1914 it’s distinctive early art deco features embody a classic coastal Australian essence.     The venue was overcrowded and the noise level almost unbearable not helped by the band playing in the bar downstairs and coming straight thru the roof. The plastic covers were down obscuring the view of the beach. The price of a bottle of wine was well over $100.00 for the cheapest but the house white at $60.00 odd was very drinkable. The cap rump steak was good. We ate as quickly as we could so we could get away from the noise.

    The fries were undercooked, the witlof was stale and limp, the japanese pumpkin was tasteless, i think the calamari was precooked and was also overcooked, the oysters were tiny and tasteless, the lamb skewer was ok, the cocktail was rough and unbalanced. What happened? This used to be an enjoyable dining experience?

    Loved our experience at Hotel Ravesis. The staff were fantastic. Food was outstanding. It was a quiet night, but we enjoyed having a lovely and relaxing evening. Thank you to the staff, will definitely be back again.

    Was there on a Sunday evening for my daughter's 18th birthday family dinner. The whole experience was outstanding; from the booking through to the farewell. The table assigned to us was amazing out on the balcony with sweeping views of Bondi. The service was top notch and the food was really very good too. What was surprising was the overall value; fantastic! Noise levels were high but my 83 years old mother was enjoying the beats so all good!! We had a great family dinner so thank you!

    It was great !!!Fast service I would have to say it was the best steak Ive had in a very long time cooked to perfection !!and the prawns were really fresh Overall great dining experience
