   when we arrived, we were greeted by a sharply dressed gentleman, outside the secret entrance. Once inside it takes your eyes a minute to adjust to the low light. All the staff was happy to see us . The bartender that made my first drink was delightful and made great drinks. The food was fantastic our table had steaks, and fish. The atmosphere is fun. the entertainment was top notch. Had a great time. Waiter's name was Daren. He was amazing.

   We had a great time. The food was amazing. Our waiter Brandon was the most knowledgeable and friendly person I have ever met. The show was great too. Definitely a must do next time in Nashville. Celebrated our Anniversary with friends. Thanks again Brandon for making it so memorable.

   Our waiter Brandon was an amazing! He knew everything about the menu and the place! House of cards did an incredible job at making the environment special and may I even say magical! Food was great and our waters were never left unfilled! The gentleman responsible for filling our glasses was top tier! Great magic show as well! Awesome way to spend a special evening with special people!

   It was freezing in there, no TP in the bathroom, food was okay, very limited menu, no chicken, the card show was quick and I had more of an Americas got talent expectation..

   Amazing night with out-of-town guests at this fabulous venue. It’s just the perfect evening out for folks from out of town you want to impress. The food is absolutely off the charts… Beautifully prepared and presented. The ambience is out of this world… Literally. So many incredible pieces of history, including a pair of Harry Houdini’s handcuffs! The magic blew us away… Can’t even begin to figure out how these magicians do it. Highly recommended for that very special evening.

   Every year they improve their hospitality and it’s amazing great food and experience. Brandon or Branden, who Was our server , he has been working there since it’s open if I recall correctly. he was very knowledgeable of the place, and menu. Overall would come back again to celebrate any occasion

    House of Cards is one of those rare places that still believes in a bit of mystery and theater with dinner. Tucked beneath downtown Nashville, it feels like stepping into another time—dark, moody, and refreshingly well-dressed (and yes, the dress code is real, and yes, it’s a nice change). Dinner was well done—nothing overwrought, just solid dishes prepared with care. The service was attentive without hovering, which is always appreciated. And the magic? Surprisingly impressive. Not flashy or over-the-top, just smart, classic sleight of hand that fits perfectly with the vibe. It’s an experience more than a meal, and a well-curated one at that. Perfect for a date night or if you’re entertaining guests who appreciate something a little unexpected. Just don’t forget to wear a jacket—and enjoy the fact that for once, everyone else is too.
