   We had a great time. The food was amazing. Our waiter Brandon was the most knowledgeable and friendly person I have ever met. The show was great too. Definitely a must do next time in Nashville. Celebrated our Anniversary with friends. Thanks again Brandon for making it so memorable.

   It was freezing in there, no TP in the bathroom, food was okay, very limited menu, no chicken, the card show was quick and I had more of an Americas got talent expectation..

   Amazing night with out-of-town guests at this fabulous venue. It’s just the perfect evening out for folks from out of town you want to impress. The food is absolutely off the charts… Beautifully prepared and presented. The ambience is out of this world… Literally. So many incredible pieces of history, including a pair of Harry Houdini’s handcuffs! The magic blew us away… Can’t even begin to figure out how these magicians do it. Highly recommended for that very special evening.

   Every year they improve their hospitality and it’s amazing great food and experience. Brandon or Branden, who Was our server , he has been working there since it’s open if I recall correctly. he was very knowledgeable of the place, and menu. Overall would come back again to celebrate any occasion

   House of Cards is one of those rare places that still believes in a bit of mystery and theater with dinner. Tucked beneath downtown Nashville, it feels like stepping into another time—dark, moody, and refreshingly well-dressed (and yes, the dress code is real, and yes, it’s a nice change). Dinner was well done—nothing overwrought, just solid dishes prepared with care. The service was attentive without hovering, which is always appreciated. And the magic? Surprisingly impressive. Not flashy or over-the-top, just smart, classic sleight of hand that fits perfectly with the vibe. It’s an experience more than a meal, and a well-curated one at that. Perfect for a date night or if you’re entertaining guests who appreciate something a little unexpected. Just don’t forget to wear a jacket—and enjoy the fact that for once, everyone else is too.

   One of the most unique dining experiences I’ve had. Service is 10/10. You are greeted by charming Hosts, and brought on a tour by Martin which really sets a plan for the evening. Our server, Alex, was attentive and had wonderful recomendations, so glad he told us about the scallops. The server assistants were also so friendly and were diligently replenishing water cups, never saw the bottom of our glasses. The sign of a very good service staff. We also had the beef tartare, both apps were fantastic. My date ate the lamb, she loved it, I had a New York Strip with the bone marrow butter that Alex recommended, steak was very good but the butter was even better. The N/A Negroni was one of the best nonalcoholic mocktails I’ve ever tried. And for dessert their crème brûlée was a nice ending. All of the magicians were very funny and put on a wonderful show. Had the time of our lives. Thanks to all the staff at HoC for such a great evening!
