   Typically love Hudson House. Just a few noted things that made our experience a little subpar last night. Our reservation was for 7:15. We arrived at 7:05 ish and told to wait. I went to the bathroom (which was messier than normal, toilet paper not even on the roll). On my way back I walked by 2 open tables and as we continued to wait 2 additional tables opened up. Hosts were lost in other parts of the restaurant. Finally got sat and waited about 7ish minutes to be greeted for drinks. Not faulting our server, she was great (and stuck at a large table taking an order) but normally see a lot of teamwork from other servers and help from manager. Didn't see that tonight. Not sure we even saw a manager (there was a guy with a mask who blended in to look like a host, we assumed he was a host because he sat us and then just walked away) - typically managers assess the scenario and step in to help servers (at least get the table water). everything else was good besides large table around us that was loud (kids running around) servers just dodged the kids instead of kindly asking parents to have kids to sit in their seats. our food was good except for the truffle fries tasted like dirty oil and fish (which is not the norm when we visit HH).

   I don’t know why it is when you go to a nice restaurant that they don’t automatically bring beverage napkins to go under whatever you’re drinking. I had to ask for them at Hudson House and I’ve had to ask for them at Brentwood. Some of the restaurants we go to automatically bring beverage napkins.  I even took my own beverage napkins to Brentwood one night to try to make an impression on them. I don’t know if they’re trying to be “green”,  but I like a beverage napkin!

   Food was delicious, service was great and ambiance was nice. Burger was a 10. Fish taco is more of a burrito but delicious.

   Hudson House has one of the best Happy Hours in Addison! Food is always awesome, great service and outstanding martinis!

   This is my favorite Hudson House location. The service is always great, the food is always excellent, and the atmosphere is classy, yet relaxed.

   Our 22 year old daughter introduced us to to Hudson House for her bday lunch!! We love it and came back today. The patio is great and the food is wonderful! Our server was nice as well :) we’ll be back!!

    We had the best time at Hudson House last night! Our server Annie was so darling and friendly, she was part of our fun and great experience. Also, the pressed Tuna sushi was the bomb!!! We will be back!!!
