Hutch Cafe is a contemporary, elegant eatery in Downtown Calgary. Our café will bring you French inspired cuisine with a dash of homestyle cooking. With our uniquely designed space and calm, creative atmosphere – it’s the perfect cozy place to enjoy a cup of coffee or simply unwind with your friends and family. Please ensure that reservations for our afternoon tea set are made at least one day in advance, our tea set start at 2pm to 5pm.

Food and service were both excellent. But no Air Conditioning. Not a broken AC unit. No AC ever. In 2024 you would think a downtown restaurant would have AC. It was sweltering in the restaurant. Wouldn’t recommend on a hot day but I’ll be back in the fall or winter because the food and service are that good.

So sad the lobster Benedict’s were sold out when we came. Seriously waited 3 weeks to try it 😭
