    Andrew, Tomeia and Jedrick made our son’s 8th bday an extra special one. Warmth welcome from the hostess and exceptional service from the team and spectacular food as always that’s why we love coming back here 😊.     Our first time in Vancouver and looking for a good dinner but not up itself. We saw a magazine article reviewing the 50 best restaurants in Vancouver and Hy’s got a silver award for consistently good food and service, plus it had immediate availability. We took an early table and had steak (medallions of tenderloin) and fish (tuna, halibut and scallop). Both were cooked superbly. The service was gracious and friendly; the staff took time to speak with us about the wine and food and made us feel welcome. It is not cheap but represents value for a fine dining experience.

    The entire dinner was exceptional starting and ending with our Server, Sebastian. There was nothing that could have made the evening any more special and perfect.

    We were there for a special Birthday celebration so it was very disappointing that you no longer do anything to acknowledge it. There are many other very nice restaurants that still do, so will go somewhere else in the future. Food was good, other than the baked potato's were absolutely drowning in sour cream, to the point there was more sour cream than potato. Service and ambience were wonderful, but not likely to return based on other issues.

    You'd think a steak house could make steak... But they went 0 for 3 on our steaks. 2 send backs. Our waiter was great and worked with us {made great table side Caesar salad) but that was dissapointing.
