   You'd think a steak house could make steak... But they went 0 for 3 on our steaks. 2 send backs. Our waiter was great and worked with us {made great table side Caesar salad) but that was dissapointing.

   Ein wirklich tolles Steakhouse. Wunderschön eingerichtet, tolles Essen, perfekter Service. Sehr zu empfehlen. Speisen wurden teilweise am Tisch zubereitet, sehr professionelles Personal.

   It was an around great experience. The food was amazing, the ambience was superb, and customer service was top notch. I had a very nice time.

   Mixed grill was great value (3 different cuts), with perfectly done potatoes and green beans. Add an order of asparagus (feeds2) - pair with your favourite red/white wine - nirvana!

   The quality of the service and steak were very high. One of the best steaks of my life. We loved that you could see the grill being worked from the dinning room and the classic club like decor.

   The best steakhouse I can imagine. Perfect atmosphere to enjoy perfectly prepared steaks with attentive service. You cannot be disappointed.

   We were greeted by an effusive and cordial lady and seated promptly. This was my first time back in 10 years, however it fell very short of my last experience. The $100 ribeyes we ordered were practically 50% fat, not much flavor and not cooked the way we asked for it. The oysters were excellent though as were the side dishes. The server was kinda inattentive and robotic too. This wasn’t a good experience this time but the restaurant is still with its lovely ambiance. I was disappointed to say the least.

   The food was served exactly has expected. Steak, salad, cheese bread was just right. service was professional, polite and the server did not make us feel rushed. . A very enjoyable experience. Would definitely return.

    Beyond compare again, I gave it 99,5 points, GOTHAM two days earlier 100 points. The half point more at GOTHAM was for the half-portion tempura-fried mushroom sticks (?) along with a half-portion creamed spinach. But the Rib-Eye-bone-in and everything else was equally amazing, perfect and outstanding. THIS IS STEAK HEAVEN along with top service (David at GOTHAM and Aleksei at HY'S) and top ambience. The third steakhouse I visited was ELISA. The Rib-Eye-bone-in also equally perfect, service equally perfect, but they had NO CREAMED SPINACH (a must for me). So totally "only" 95 or 06 points. And they couldn't say or explain, why they didn't have creamed spinach on their menu (and the sauted mushrooms were mediocre). So what will stay in mind is GOTHAM and HY'S, just like PETER LUGER in New York and JACOBS & CO, Toronto..
