The Izakaya style restaurant is a visual feast that has combined modern dining with a traditional twist. Multi level seating, private booths and year round heated decking ensure each visit is as original as the first.

Ichi Ni accommodates a full and traditional Japanese menu that caters to all tastes – yakitori, sushi, sashimi and Japanese tapas. Curtis is always a delight to see! He is always prompt with service. Food is amazing and I have too many favourites! it's a shame St kilda is closed, however I'm sure Fitzroy will be just as good! Thank you for the good times

Took over 2 hours for food, except for one serve of Gyoza. When the sushi came they delivered our dessert at the same time. Dragon rolls with chocolate haramaki anyone? Manager’s x 2 taking photos with old men dining at other tables and sitting on their laps…weird. And then over $500 for the experience. Kind of not what it used to be.

Terrible service. Took a long time to take our order, had to come back to us three times to tell us different dishes were sold out (30 minutes after we ordered), and some of our dishes did not have the serving amount noted on the menu.

It is a funky venue with a buzzy atmosphere. The staff are polite and helpful. The food is yummy, and the cost is reasonable. The cocktails could be more interesting, the wine list is good.

Very slow service. Took 20 minutes to get a drink and they didn’t fill up the water on the table once. Food was excellent.

Horrid service and food was cold, requested to be inside weeks prior and was seated outside. Waited 70 minutes for spring rolls and never came had to cancel them

Unfortunately very disappointed with service and quality. The food itself tasted good but the food temperature was cold. We had also ordered some drinks that never came either. So we left before desert could be offered. It’s beautiful ambience, just disappointing service and cold food.
