   Its is a nice eatery. However, the original on Becker Lane is much better. Maybe this new outlet needs more time to settle in.

   nice addition to the neighborhood. pizza was very good. meat ball app was excellent. drinks were generous and service prompt and attentive. we will be back.

   Overall food (pizza/salad/app) was very good and will definitely be back. Service was ok - server was nice but we asked to spread out salad/apps with pizza and pizza came out less than 5 mins after our salad. So table was overcrowded and pizza was no longer hot by time we got to it. Wish we would have not put our pizza order in until we finished salad but one would have hoped the server would have thought to wait and/or ask and confirm to put pizza in oven after sale was consumed.

   If you are looking for excellent Neapolitan style pizza, Il Bosco would be a good choice.

   The ambiance is definitely lacking. It feels like a lower end sports bar. Not very cozy. The chairs are cheap fake leather. The plates were made out of melamine which I found to be tacky. The shisito peppers were ok. The zucchini flower blossoms had way too much batter on them so you mostly tasted the fried part. The pizza was the best thing of this meal. I can highly recommend the pizza. It is soft with a slightly crispy bottom to nicely hold all the toppings. I would probably not dine in again but would definitely order pizza take out.

   I thought it was okay. The pizza dough is more chewy than crispy, not a fan of the texture. The flavor is there but the structure is not. We also got a charcuterie board that had way too much cheese and not enough bread. Adding something spreadable and more bread would have made this a lot better. Weirdly the chairs and tables look very cheap like the style you would see in Barros or Dominos. I thought Il Bosco would be nicer. I recommend Lamplighter Pizza nearby as a better alternative.

    So it’s nothing like the original in terms of decor - it feels very good, more open and a great large bar area! Pizza is excellent! Caesar salad - dressing tasted store bought or had too much mayonnaise - barely any garlic. The other ingredients, especially the shaved parm were very good. It’s noisy / needs some kind of sound baffling - table of 6 ladies beside us really loud and almost forced us to move tables, go to the bar or leave. We will go back for sure - maybe no Caesar salad and we will be careful in accepting seating.
