   We were celebrating an anniversary, so they gave us a nice champagne toast, which was nice. We would have preferred a more intimate table. They sat us right next to the outside door and it was rather chilly. The pasta was ok not great. The gelato was salted, which we didn't like. The service was very friendly and helpful but fairly slow.

   Traveling for business and 8 of us had a great overall experience at Il Brutto. We sat outside on their large patio and the weather was perfect!!! All 8 of us enjoyed what we ordered and even had desserts!!!!! It was a great night and will be back the next time I'm in Austin!!!!

   It’s been awhile since we have been but it was not a great experience last night. The service was really slow and our server was barely there to see if we needed anything. Frequently forgot the things we did need and messed up our order. Some of the food tasted great but the lasagna wasn’t flavored well and it was dry. Also frustrating that you pay for parking in the garage when you are in there but if you wait and do it in the restaurant it’s free, no signage or anything to tell you that.

   Food and drinks were exceptional as always. Server entered my wife’s order incorrectly (completely different dish came out), and I was done with my food by the time her correct order came out. Our server didn’t offer to comp anything or try to make it right in any way. We were on the way to the theater so I didn’t have time to ask, but frankly I wouldn’t expect to need to ask at a restaurant at this level. Disappointing experience at one of my favorite spots in town.

   We had THE BEST time tonight. My husband and I got there a little after the parents so I didn't catch our waiter's name but he (they?) was outstanding in every way. Kind, knowledgeable, and fun from start to finish. The cocktails are unrivaled in Austin (IMO) and the wine that was recommended was straight up superb. Iconic, even. Every single dish we ordered was the actual best any of us had tasted of each iteration of that dish out in the wild. The vibe was spot on for 4pm and just got better as the sun faded. Every staff member we encountered was so nice and super helpful no matter how small the question seemed. We cannot wait to go back. Absolutely fantastic evening.

   Food was phenomenal. Not a single dish that we did not like. Service could be better, as there were times the waiter disappeared for too long. Would go back again!

    The food was great and the service was great, took my girlfriend for our anniversary and she loved the food and the pretty lights outside :)
