Bottles of wine from small, regional wineries are uncorked to complement the dishes, which have been crafted in the custom of Italy's chefs, bakers and homemakers. Il Fornaio means "the Baker" in Italian. This award-winning restaurant offers an authentic and unique Italian dining experience.     Il Fornaio - Coronado was incredible!! The ambience and atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious. The lobster raviolis were amazing and the Tiramisu and Vulcano were a perfect way to end the meal.

    As usual Il Fornaio doesn’t disappoint! When my husband and I are able to go out for a special dinner we never think twice about going to Il Fornaio. The food, waitstaff and ambiance are top notch every single time.

    We were there this evening 2/16/2025 to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday! I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the hostess. She was a young girl no more than 25 years of age. She was rude first on the phone, then when we arrived as well. Our waitress was amazing/superb and our food was great. I would still highly recommend, the restaurant.
