   Both penne a la vodka and my salmon were very good. The fried calamari were tender. Service was attentive. I had the margarita Italiano, that I enjoyed very much. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

   First time at II Fornaio. Causal dinner with a business partner who came into town. Excellent service. Amazing food, salmon, chicken marsala and flat bread pizza. Location cannot be beat. Perfect ambience. Excellent value. Will be back.

   Pasta and seafood was fresh and delicious. Love the atmosphere as it is the perfect balance of liveliness yet privacy in the booths inside. Our server was on top of everything and excellent. We look forward to another dinner again soon!

   Food, location and ambiance were excellent, however, our service was slow. The time lapses between seating and ordering appetizers, finishing dinner and being offered dessert and finally getting a check were rather long. Dinner for two was almost two hours. This was on a Thursday, seated at 445 and it was not busy at all. Food was hot and support staff were very timely. I ultimately believe our server just may have had guests that were spread out too much for one server.

   Food tasted amazing (best meatballs we’ve ever had) but the portions were pretty small. Didnt exactly feel full unless I stuffed my face with bread.

   Our experience at Il Fornaio on New Year’s Eve was fantastic. It was a quieter evening given it was New Year’s Eve, but the atmosphere was nice, the food was great, and the service was excellent. The Chicken Parm on the specials list was a great touch to the menu as it was one that can compare to that of NYC and Boston Italian restaurants.

   Made reservations to enjoy dinner with the family when a large group arrived and was extremely loud. They were moving chairs, the table behind us had all the kids sitting and were extremely loud. We tried to speak to manager but she was too busy helping the large party get their seats. Made our dinning experience unpleasant our waiter couldn’t assist us because he was occupied by this large party. We decided to ask for our check & left. On our way out we tried to speak to manager and she could careless about our situation. We drove 30 minutes to enjoy a pleasant New Year’s Eve dinner and had the worst time.

    We had an early NYE dinner on the patio. As always the service was great, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fun.
