   Great food, even with reservations, you wait. Parking is a nightmare, service was slow, 15 min to get water, 20 to get a drink

   Service was excellent. Drinks were amazing. Food flavor was good, but everything was lukewarm warm— it came out really quickly, so just undercooked pizza, relied on hot sauce to heat meatballs ( it didn’t).

   Morgan was a fabulous host. Our lunch arrival was table service perfection with every dish: insalate Mondragone, St. Gabriele, panna cotta, tiramisu excellently delicious. IL Forno is tucked in a quiet nook. A hidden gem. Parking limited with other establishments having to share. Entry a little tricky, but worth the zig-zags. HIghly recommend.

   Fresh pasta made on site incorporated into a series of dishes, but falls short with the shells still on the shrimp, and the pasta is served more al dente than we would like. Tje focaccia is just their pizza crust. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is bright and minimalist. There is a full bar and a short but diverse wine list. The Carpaccio is uniquely served with greens, and the desserts are delicious

   Il Forno was one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville. This is the second time that we have been and the wait staff was horrible, terrible and unpleasant. Food was cold…wait staff did not give a s—-! Food was late and wait staff could care less! I have met the owner several times and if he was a customer he would be appauled! I will not be back and I will not spend money here again and don’t recommend you do either! Which makes me sad because I think it is some of the best food in nashville, but I will not be treated this way again. Maybe they don't need my business but this is the second time it was a horrible experience and I cannot recommend you visit!

   Food was delicious, authentic Italian. There was a slight mix up with our order and they comped our salad, appetizer and sent us a free dessert. The owner came to the table to apologize and was so kind. We will be back!

    The food was authentic and very good. Our server was excellent. Alcohol was expensive. If you reserve a table, make sure it’s for at-least 3 ppl, even if your party only has 2. We had a reservation for 2 @ 6pm. 10 mins early and it took another hour to be seated because they wouldn’t sit us at a 3 or 4 top table. Even with no one else waiting. Several walk-in’s of 3 or more were put ahead of us. After 7pm on a Friday it was dead, so you could go then also. Having to wait for a table when there are available tables and no one waiting in line, with a reservation sealed the deal for me. Even tho the food was good, we won’t be back.
