As a first gen Italian American it’s hard to find a solid Italian restaurant in Nashville- but I did today! The grilled octopus salad was delicious as was the burrata appetizer. Nice wine list and excellent service.

Our server was rude and just seemed irritated to be waiting on us. We were sat at a table in the bartenders section and she seemed incapable of serving and making drinks. The pizza was super undercooked.

The food and drinks were delicious. We especially loved the focaccia, meatballs, and the tiramisu. One of the pizzas was a bit soggy but the other things we ordered were wonderful. Our server was attentive and helpful.

Our party of five had an amazing experience at Il Forno last night. We ordered the arrancini and a pizza to share to start. The pizza did not disappoint with a delicious thin crust and the freshest toppings. Entrees were three pasta dishes-all exceptional, especially the lamb ragu over fettuccine, another pizza, and the cioppini. Again, all excellent. I would definitely recommend this as a place for date night and a group meal.

The food was incredible and service equally as good. It felt authentic and welcoming. We took our kids and they felt at home too. Will go back.

Il Forno transports you to a Neapolitan restaurant and pizzeria with a contemporary vibe. We never have a bad meal there. The service is always welcoming and excellent. The food always amazing.

Hands down the best Italian food in Nashville and possibly some of the best in the U.S. so far. On par with or better than Italian food in Boston. Having just returned from 2 weeks in Italy, I can honestly say this is authentic Italian! Every dish was amazing, especially the pasta.
