   The restaurant is cute and close to my work and the Wallis. My I had a few pieces of pasta that were not fully cooked, but the sauce was good. My cocktail was also just ok. I would go back and try something else and maybe a wine the next time I have a show at the Wallis to go to. The servers were nice and showed up to the table right when you needed them. The hostesses were also very polite and accommodating. Very good service.

   My husband and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our 27th year anniversary. We have a booking for 7:45pm, but arrived 20 minutes early. My husband informed one of the staff that we have a reservation. We were told to wait and it wasn’t really a long wait so it was ok. The only thing I noticed was that the staff in the reception area weren’t courteous and accommodating. The girl who directed us to our table was frowning and snobbish. Also, they gave us a place which was not suited to celebrate an anniversary. There was too much distraction and noise. We were never asked if we wanted to be seated inside. No one paid attention to my instructions when I made the reservation that it was for a special occasion. My husband and I always celebrate our anniversary dining in a Beverly Hills hotel or restaurant. We were greeted with smiles and we were given an area suited for the occasion. The waiters would also ask if we were celebrating anything for the night. We were even given complimentary desserts with an anniversary message. Il Pastaio staff never made that effort. Never going back.

   It's so nice to have a late night option in Beverly Hills. The food is excellent and the service is always top notch.

    100% agree with the other reviews, the hostesses were so extremely rude and unfriendly. The vibe inside was very high stress from the waitstaff, and our waiter was also not overly friendly, so I’m not sure that I would return. The food however was great, so maybe go into it knowing they are super rude and ask to sit outside, ha!
