Brilliant atmosphere, combining slightly dusky European feel, somehow relaxing and with sharp, unobtrusive waiters. The food was wholesome and flavourful and the wine came quickly. Being seated next to a bizarre collection of books was charming and these provided some stimulation at just the right moments.

Second time in a week. This time very poor service. The waiter had finished his own dinner in the bar before we got our main after waiting for one hour. Poor communication and a manageress who was close to rude. We were not in the end billed for the food. The owners who were present the previous time has a significant positive effect on efficiency and atmosphere.
