Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. With an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can seat approximately 85 guests inside for a casual night of food and drinks. The wine list is focused on affordable Italian varietals, the Gin & Tonic cocktail is on tap, and the fresh sodas are made in-house. Large windows fill the restaurant with natural light that reflects off the white subway tile, wood accents and butcher block tables. An open kitchen invites guests to keep an eye on the action while enjoying the sights and smells of Italian cooking. During warmer months, a 44-seat patio invites guests to dine al fresco.

We did the Family meal where the chef prepares three unknown courses and they were all excellent! Waitress was super friendly and we had a great time.

Everything from the service to the ambiance to the food was phenomenal. We started with some things off the holiday menu- the caviar oysters and scallop crudo were fantastic- we literally ordered a second scallop crudo on the spot. The black pepper Tag, focaccia bread, and trout were outstanding as well. This is one of the best spots in Charlotte. Thanks again for the fantastic service Michael!!

Indaco made my dual celebration of my birthday and that my wife is expecting so special! They offered their congratulations many times, gave us an appetizer on the house, and even gave us a small gift for the baby! The host was very kind and checked on us throughout the meal. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. We will definitely be back! Thank you Indaco!

The atmosphere is amazing. A beautiful spot for a date night, family reunion, or grabbing fancy drinks with buds. Our server Mathew was fantastic, knows his dating shows and menu choices. Expresso Martinis are in the running for best in CLT

This was my first time at Indaco, but it certainly won’t be my last. The service and food were IMPECCABLE! When I made the reservation I put that I was celebrating a birthday. The restaurant reached out to ask whose birthday it was and a few things about them. I advised I was celebrating my boyfriend’s bday and he loves Marvel. When we got to the table they had personalized the menu and gotten him a small gift. Hands down one of the best experience’s I’ve ever gotten from a restaurant. The icing on the cake was the incredible food and cocktails. We had the Tortellini, Pappardelle, the Focaccia, and enjoyed the Tiramisu for desert. I would recommend this place again and again!
