   We are Iron Hill King of the Hill members; we have always had a great experience at Iron Hill. Our experience last night (Friday, February 14, 2025) was the first time we thought it was not up to par. The reservation I made online was for a tall table in the bar area, we were sat at a regular two top on the restaurant side among a whole line of two tops - it was a little tight. I do need to note that we DID NOT voice the mistake or ask it to be corrected. We checked in 10 - 15 minutes early, and enjoyed a pre-dinner cocktail at the bar. We were sat promptly at our reservation time. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and easily made recommendations for us. Our biggest disappointment was our food. We split a Caesar salad. There was not enough dressing on the salad. I ordered the grilled chicken with creamy rice (my husband has ordered this before and loved it). Last night the rice was not very creamy and the chicken was a little dry. My husband ordered the rigatoni. The pasta was under cooked, even for me and I like aldente. The dish did not have enough sauce. We ordered the triple chocolate brownie for dessert. The brownie itself was overcooked, but the peanut butter caramel sauce and ice cream made up for that. Even though this was not our best visit, it will not stop us from going to Iron Hill. They were very busy with the Valentine Day crowd. As a whole, they handled the crowd well. Also, I left my phone at the table when we left. They did not hesitate to put it in their safe to hold it for me until I could pick it up the next morning.

    Excellent service, good variety of menu items, excellent beer selection. Food came out very fast even though the restaurant was packed. I ordered the southern schnitzel but was not impressed with how it was prepared. Should have been tenderized (flattened) but was really just two breaded boneless pork chops. Wife ordered the salmon which was excellent. Overall, we were pleased and will probably return.
