   We love this wine bar! It was put first time there and the food, wine and service was perfection! Our server Azzy was the best, she suggested lovely wine and oysters! We will definitely be back!

   I really recommend visiting this restaurant if you live in Vancouver or if you are visiting and are at all interested in French food. Forget greasy croque-monsieurs and mall crêpes or other "French" tourist traps, "Is That French" has real food with inspired flavors and great execution. It was like being back home, eating in Montréal's best small restaurants. Fresh, high quality ingredients were obvious to us who are used to it, we are pretty picky in that department. We both work in the industry so we were delighted to be served in such friendly but professional manner, it's getting rarer and rarer to experience this these days. It was nice to meet the owner, too!

   dont go when you are hungry, its not a place for you to fill your empty stomach up. Been here many times, the food is still fairly good but the portion definitely got even smaller and the price went up, we ordered quite a few but was still hungry after everything was served, but we didnt want to spend more on this tiny dishes, so we left for somewhere else. I just came back from a trip to Spain and literally the portion size is smaller than the tapas in Spain. I asked for an extra piece of brioche toast for the foi gra and got charged 5 bucks. I guess its now a place for you to go in and order a dish or two and a drink, then hop onto other places.

   Just celebrated my birthday here and everything was amazing, from the atmosphere to our server to the wine, felt like we weren't in Vancouver anymore. Really lovely.
