It’s simple really, our calling card is sustainable Scottish seafood.

Our name comes from the Gaelic word for fish. It’s a wee bit tricky to pronounce, but it’s no bother if guests don’t get it quite right. With delicious fresh produce served by our very own Head Chef, Sean Currie, you'll feel the energy in the way we go about things – our warm welcome, enthusiasm for what we do, and, of course, a splash of Glaswegian banter. From Cumbrae Oysters to Salmon and Lobster burgers, enjoy the best Scottish seafood and ocean inspired cocktails in Glasgow.

Don't miss out on our iasg DJ weekends, our line-up for Friday to Sunday every week will feature resident and guest DJ, with each session having its own distinct vibe:

Fridays
Glitterbox: 5-10pm

Saturdays
Balearic House: 5-10pm

Sundays
Back to Mine: 1-5pm

When I booked a table at the Blughswood Square Hotel thought it would have been obvious that we required a meal. When we arrived, we were shown to a table that had obviously been reserved for us but was not set up for meals. The table was enormous and could’ve sat eight people. we were offered the drink which was delivered to our table. However, after 40 minutes I had to call a waitress and ask if we could have the menu. She was very nice and explained that all that was available was the bar menu with the à la caret menu, not commencing till 5 o’clock. The food was delivered about half an hour later. my order which was a salmon and prawn burger was fine. My wife ordered a Caesar salad was extremely disappointing and if she had not ordered chicken in with it, she would have had a plate of green lettuce sprinkled with some cheese and dressing.. the poorest Caesar salad I’ve ever seen in my life. We remained in the bar till about seven and the young man who served us till we left was very pleasant. I just wished I’d got his name. We Left hotel and the doorman very kindly got a us taxi. overall our experience was not as good as we expected. I do not think we’ll be back again.

Ignored for 20 mins when arrived to eat at the bar, eventually given menus but then nobody returned to take drinks/food order for another 15 mins despite lots of staff hanging about at far end of the bar. This has happened previously and I haven’t left a review as I know how difficult hospitality is at the moment but this place is just badly managed imo and needs to change to survive. I mentioned to the doorman as we left how dreadful our experience was and he told me that he had heard that before. There are far better places to eat and drink in Glasgow, we found Dakota to be a far better experience in terms of food, service and cost.

Lovely space and decor. Excellent service with really good quality drinks and cocktails. Nice touch to automatically provide cold water - not everywhere does and its such an easy thing to do and makes a difference. We would and will definitely return.

Disappointed that we booked bar seats which when we arrived were not available and we had to sit at a table. Bar itself is lovely. Staff really go out of their way to be nice. Table area just doesn't have the same ambience as the bar. We didn't eat dinner just drinks. Great Champagne by the glass selection.
