Isidore offers a "magical" dining experience with "exceptional service" and "beautifully presented" dishes that showcase local Texas ingredients. The wine pairing enhances the "fabulous" meals, and the atmosphere is both "elevated and warm." Though some dishes may need refining, Isidore remains a standout in San Antonio.

A truly exquisite dining experience tonight at Isidore for a friend’s birthday. Every dish was beautifully plated and presented and the flavors were wonderful and unusual. The fennel salad, cheese croquette, and yuba dumplings , were absolutely stand out but the buttermilk pie was heavenly. Beyond light with a gently smooth texture, slightly piquant mustard greens and a citrussy finish that elevated it far past superb. The roasted cauliflower with tahini was also a great sharing dish and the red snapper was perfect. I enjoyed a crisp glass of Gruner Vetliner and an unbelievable chocolate mousse with a coffee caramel sauce and orange marmalade. Our server, Amanda, was awesome and don’t forget the bread service! Tonight’s was a rye brioche with salted blueberries and cultured butter and herbs. Can’t wait to come back. The open kitchen format is beautiful and the restaurant has a lovely, warm, mellow ambiance and low noise level-which is hard to do with an industrial but cosmopolitan design vibe, but Isidore pulls it off and gives a gracious salute to the bounty of Texas’ and farms and ranches!

I have now had at least 10 meals at Isidore over the last year, and I have come to consider it one of the great restaurants in America. Everything about this restaurant is wonderful, in fact I'd say magical. In a city with so many great restaurants, Isidore is up there with the very best.

We wanted to try out one of the restaurants at Pullman Market and Isidore looked promising. While it’s fresh, tasty, and farm to market the prices are high and the portions small. Service by waitstaff was excellent as well as the complimentary bread. The were only two frustrations. Although my wife and I only shared an appetizer, a salad, and an entrée (three things ~$75) we were there an Hour and 45 minutes. Second, they were out of several menu items, one of which I was quite disappointed (Crab toast). Would still recommend and hope your experience is better.

Our waitstaff was excellent , the menu is very limited for those who are not interested in steak. The red snapper we were told we could share amongst 3 was minute way too much small to share but came with a huge helping of kale salad.
